“Sustaınable Cıtıes For A Greener Future” isimli eTwinning projemizle çevre sorunlarını gündeme getirerek dünyamızı daha yaşanabilir hale getirmek için bir adım atmayı hedefliyoruz.
Bu projemizde yemyeşil yarınlar için sürdürülebilirlik kavramını öne çıkarıyoruz. Bu amaçla çevre farkındalığı ile çevremizi şekillendirmeye çabalıyoruz. Bu amaçla oluşturduğumuz projemizde Türkiye’den 6 ve Yunanistan’dan 3 danışman öğretmen ile 60’dan fazla öğrencinin katılımı ile etkinlikler yapıyoruz. Çevre sorunları, yeşil enerji ve geri dönüşüm gibi sorunların yanı sıra dijital araçlar, web 2.0 araçları, yapay zeka araçlarını kullanarak farklı kültürlerden ortaklar arasında işbirliği yaparak karşılıklı etkileşimde bulunuyoruz.
Project Goals
• To draw the attention of students and their families to environmental pollution and climate change issues such as the damage caused by waste, air pollution, global warming, groundwater pollution, and damage to the ecosystem,
• To draw the attention of students, families and society to the damage caused by human-caused environmental pollution to a sustainable ecosystem and sustainable cities,
• To ensure that students are sensitive to sustainable cities and ecosystems and to provide awareness of livable cities by producing solutions for the continuation of sustainability,
• To develop environmental protection awareness in our students,
• To ensure that our students take responsibility and work on a joint project regarding sustainable cities and ecosystems,
• To raise awareness in society about how we can reduce the damage caused to the environment by recycling waste that causes environmental pollution and climate change,
• To raise awareness in our students, their families and society about the effects of a sustainable ecosystem and city on the future of the Earth,
• To increase the self-confidence of our students who take part in the project,
• To ensure that our students use technology effectively while conducting research,
• To ensure that they discuss and brainstorm with their peers in other cities and countries about a sustainable city and ecosystem,
• To provide our students who take part in the project with skills such as critical thinking, questioning and analysis,
• To ensure that our students who design sustainable cities use their manual skills and imagination,
• To ensure that our students create a new product from solid waste by making sustainable city models using solid waste,
• To create awareness in students about the contribution of a product that would otherwise be thrown away to both the protection of the environment and the national economy by making compost fertilizer from organic waste, which is beneficial to the sustainable ecosystem,
• To ensure that students and teachers who take part in this project actively use Web 2.0 tools.
